Every once and a while im called upon to move a bed. Generally it's not a big deal. Unless of course it has center feet that are too far underneath to place furniture movers. About 2 years ago while fabricating the rx20 drop in holder/cradle i named the rx20 toilet seat (you can look it up on this site) i solved the problem of what to use to move beds with center feet. Raise the outer 4 legs high enough for them to clear! What i did was take some ½" horse trailer mat left over from the rx20 toilet seat project and cut 6½" squares to set on top of harbor freight standard 7" square furniture movers. This works great, at least great if the bed had pads not wheels.after running into this problem again yesterday i went back to the shop with the quest to solve this problem with what i have on hand.what i came up with was to cut the bottom outa 4 peroxide bottles, install a short bolt n nut to the bottom then drill a hole in the center of the horse trailer mat slightly smaller than the nut for a tight fit . Now i have adapter cups to stop the wheels from rolling off the sliders. And i can use the sliders any way plain, lifted, lifted with cups and every thing still fits in one of my two plastic harbor Freight ammunition boxes of furniture movers i keep in the van
