I was thinking more MRSA but who knows what the hell it is in those pearls


not that it couldn't be a spider/recluse bite.....they obviously happen and a certain percentage cause necrosis/other symptoms requiring intervention

Just to update my situation..


I got lucky. Lots of story but in short if I didn't go to the doctor as early, my doc says they would have been opening up the leg and crazy extensive clean out surgery.

The lancing you see helped to drain the leg. It's been a mess but my white blood count is normal and no fever.

The mark was not very big but the dot showed infection and drained some infection twice before the lancing.

I told her (the doc) to shoot it up extra (and it worked) and decided to go on adrenaline 17 final hours to get to our local hospital.

I might get out Thursday it sounds like... In time to go to work in ugly huge restruant carpet, tile and grout truck stop.

I leave for Vegas again on Monday.
