Mold in a storage room in a basement of an apartment building . There is no way to create negative air pressure so other than sealing the door , bagging the contaminated drywall is there anything else that should be done?

How far is it to the nearest door or window? Do you have any Vortex blowers and a Sto n Go?

Check to see if you need any certifications to perform the work and you are insured for mold remediation.

Has the situation that caused the mold been corrected?

Set up negative air in your containment by placing an air scrubber in containment ducted out into the basement. Or have the air scrubber in the basement pulling air out of your containment. Either case clean or scrubbed air will be entering the basement. You should verify negative air pressure by taking a picture of your containment plastic being pulled into your work area.

You may need to set up an airlock so you don’t lose negative air pressure when you are removing non-salvable debris.

H.E.P.A. vacuum material that is not going to be removed. Apply an EPA-registered antimicrobial according to the directions on the label. H.E.P.A. vacuum again.

Hire an independent company to test for mold before and after you remediate the basement.
