You can't tell from the pics but I put plywood on the sides of my truck ( that way I can screw stuff into the walls ) then carpet them. But in the little truck and about half of the big truck the sides have diamond plate on the sides. I get the diamond plate from a scrap yard for about $1.50 a pound.

I even make this block holder out of diamond plate.

I just got my Mini "vortex" up and running. I bought a used GMC/Isuzu Box truck and set it up similar to yours except I have the 421. Yours looks great! I will post some pics when I get mine finished.

Make sure you get the tank converted to 2.5". You will think you have a new machine.

We haven't had much snow this year. Today was over 50 degrees.

I don't have a shop yet. My trucks are insulated (under the diamond plate ) and we keep heaters in them.

Adam, can you please tell us the dimensions (width and length) of the new little truck. Also how big a box is the Vortex?

small truck box is 6' high, 6'.2" wide, 10' long

Vortex 8' wide, around 15' long, 5'.5" tall

Both are 8'10" from the tires to the top of the box.

I was told Vortex can get you a taller box if you would like.

Looks like maybe the technical name for the "plastic springy thing" (hope that's not to techie) where the cord exits the unit, in the photos it looks like it might be pulled off, not that I EVER would have noticed that in the photo if it wasn't pointed out.

Looks, great. Congrats.

Why can't Studebaker get those electric cord nuts to hold on the Airpath? What a nuisance to have to take the whole thing apart to reassemble that.

Very nice rides! The diamond plate looks great, is that glue down carpet I see on the floor of the Ford? Did you install Ride Rite air bags on the Ford for the sway at 65 mph. I'll be putting Ride Rite in mine next week. Congrats!!Greg
