OK let's see as far as the trucks go Stanley steamer as the nicest setups by far. They are fully custom and they only cost the franchise or the corporate division about $62000 for a complete unit including Van all tools ready to go. Great use of space plenty of performance although some will say the 59 blowers under spun but it makes for nice quiet year with plenty of suction. They're impressive.

The Coit units are old legend Gt's at this division. Zerorez (?) is using mostly Hydramasterr CDSs up until about year 2 and a 1/2 and then they totally disintegrate.

Stanley steamer has their own Trident wand which they're not all too fond of and they're starting to investigate Conway wands and they've actually purchase quite a few. Zerorez uses 12" evolution wands. They were originally using the 15" but they were leading to too many elbow and shoulder issue .

I honestly don't know what Coit uses but probably whatever came with their prochem machines.

Stanley steamer that are owned by younger owners are definitely making changes and starting the pre-vacuum, pre-scrub, dry stroke,and all that good stuff.

Coit and Zerorez will probably follow suit over time. The Zerorez in Minnesota the commercial division was using a whole bunch of Saiger products and cleaning like an owner operator. All their crews were fantastic. Some of their managers showed up and they were great as well. They're very energetic. We put them all on the top floor because they were younger and they had no problem flying up-and-down the staircases. They did very nice work and were a pleasure to be around. The Stanley steamer team in particular. They were the 1st place winners in the hardest worker award.

They were seriously all great!

Great people and people who were trying to clean in the best ways possible.

And they were all true professionals.

My eyes and bad opinions have been changed in the past years networking with them.

There is not a person I have come in contact with that you can't not like. Just really nice people!

As an owner operator, I have learned that you will not beat them at their marketing and also there is not way I would want all the potential headaches associated sending out up to 80 trucks each day.

We all make mistakes... But when sending out that many rigs the potential for a problem to occur is greatly increased.

Serously if you get a chance take the time to meet the other people on trucks in your area.

They are also just people trying to provide for their families too I find.

Actually fortunately No.

I became friends with them with no thoughts or intentions of them using it.

It was great phone conversations with them asking about the Zipper wand and Tom Conway wand that we became friends

I was impressed by our MB friend CJ and his team at the St. Petersburg MF. Equipment they sent was really nice. Beautiful vans, very well organized and sharp uniformed Techs that had been working for that company for years and knew how to clean. Better than most OO I see on FB.
I went to that Fest with an opinion I had of SS for many years and when I left my opinion was flipped.

The first time CJ called me I thought Mikey was maybe spoofing me...

I remember being pretty blown away listening to CJ and what his franchise was doing.

And he was very open to trying to help others as well and opened up showing us many things taking place with their business.

There is a lot to learn from these guys we have met in the mentioned franchises.

I really enjoy getting together with them.

I hope others will get that opportunity also.

And yes, I do consider them friends too!

Today I even helped a local competitor who apparently last night ran out of inline shut off valves.

He contacted me late last night and needed one.

I got him one this morning while at my first job..
And we talked about the local GM dealership too

Our local Stanley isn't a bad outfit ..they're not a "hi-end" 12 step, mint on the pillow outfit ..and pretty typical of the blow 'n go multi-truck outfits that offer a service at a price people are satisfied with ...that's not a bad thing and they're a reputable outfit

This guy actually back in 2014 wrapped his vans similar to ours at the time.

That pissed off the misses... Bad thing to do.

We were referring him for some work... Then we were no longer

You are right generally but that wouldn't describe the Tampa area SS. These guys pre-vacuum, have Devastator wands and Zipper wands. They were asking questions about CRB's and SS clearhead upholstery tools. Now he seems to putting a blower/dryer on every van. They are stepping up the game and for what I have seen on FB, OO better get more professional quick if Tampa is the future of the SS franchise. SS have the funds to change the game very quickly Nationally. Seriously I was impressed.
