did any of the vacuum have beater bars, I assume the sanitare did


how much dirt did the beater bar vacuums vibrate out of the carpet and on to the concrete floor

All of them had beater bars. There was no visible soil on the floor after vacuuming.

If I'm correct, I think Steve is referring to the "thumper" strip on the Sanitare/Eureka type.

Not the the brush only roll that 90+% of all uprights use.

I know the stripe you are referring to. We didn't check for those, but there was no visible soil around the samples after vacuuming, so I assume that had no bearing on the results.
