Hey All,

I'm about to send out 3200 postcards to my custies. We can send before or after the 4th of July. What is preferable? If sent before it might get ignored or they have the whole weekend to check it out. If sent after it might get ignored for other valid reasons.

What say you!?!?!?!

I used to only push when it's slow. However I've found that it's easier to add $1000 to a peak week than to make it in the "dead" times of year.

For us the first of July is busy anyway, so despite conventional wisdow, it has proved to be one of those times extra marketing really makes things pop.

Send out the cards now, and be prepared to roll with it. Lots of 7am starts, working lunches, and with a few fresh shirts...work til dark.

I would wait, because of the holiday.

If it pulls, he/I would think - well it pulled because of the fourth.

If it doesn't pull, he/I would think - well it didn't pull because of the fourth.

I would take the fourth out of the equation. It would just fook me up. imo...

I'm with Jerry on this one, I'm waiting until after the fourth to send out our monthly card. I've never had good results when a holiday falls in the middle of the week. Two cities around us will have fireworks on the 4th and our city has fireworks on 4th , 5th and 6th. My cards will get dropped in the mail on Saturday morning of the 6th so they arrive Monday morning of the 8th.
