Results are in. According to Robert:

"We didn’t get going until noon, but by 4:00 we had maybe 20 9x12's and about 15 small rugs in the drying room - three guys working"

My guess is that as they dial in their machines, tweak their procedures for flow on their new wash floor, efficiency will even increase more. Robert Mann's staff knows they have a lot of catching up to do. Robert said they have been down for 2 weeks and have pallets of rugs to process. Specifically, "twenty one pallets, and 4 carts of tufted that can't be folded, waiting to be washed. It will be very busy on Monday."

Great that they're so busy. They'll need it to pay for the move and new place. Nice to see such a successful operation. Gives hope to rug hacks like me.

When Robert Mann was asked about his water supply in his building, and its ability to keep up with his demand for use with all his equipment, his reply was as follows:

"I'm not sure exactly how much we can deliver, but it is more than enough to supply the large wash machine and all other water needs on the wash floor. The pump that supplies the wash room is rated at 250 GPM and it draws from three tanks that hold about 8500 gallons all together. City water flow is about 80 GPM, net after that back-flow preventers. The system was designed by John Pabalan with Kemco, a Florida company that builds commercial laundries and water treatment systems. John will be attending the Centrum/ARCS event in October and can answer questions in detail about how the system works."
