I believe that the Marmoleum is a linoleum floor? If this is the case (I've not actually run into marmoleum yet) then NO, it is not treated as regulare vinyl. There are special products available from various companies for linoleum. If you use a regular stripper on a linoleum floor, you will destroy it. Linoleum is very durable, but the chemical composition of most strippers will break down the linoleum and ruin it. Most manufacturers of any linoleum or linoleum type product will specify a brand, or method. You want to use a finish designed for these floors as well. It will adequately protect the floor, and will be eaiser to remove using the required stripper.
