I've heard of square doing that; however, it's never happened to me... But, I've also never had a dispute over payment, minus a wife who didn't know her husband had used a credit card to pay me (that was resolved with a phone call).

My understanding is that Carpet cleaning is one service that can't be disputed on Square. but I got that info along time ago.
