We had tried the "free room" idea years ago, the $$ discount card worked much better for us, has a monetary value, where as a free room= free from value, the ironic part is I offered both to clients as a test, they always took the $$ ones, even thought the free room was abigger "value", nearly double infact. Human nature I suppose.
