No I didn't do it. But it goes to show you unless you know what you are doing don't go hacking out rugs on site, especially with carpet prespray and high heat.

Actually Bob, I think that type of rug comes pre-color bled from the factory. Nothing that a few weeks in the river followed by a month in the desert sun won't fix.

I'm surprised how many bled rugs I see.

No Hefner jacket and I don't even own a smoking jacket let alone a bathrobe.

It took my wife three years to get me to try skin whatchewmacallit on my mug... I'm still ugly.

Bet the previous cleaner really wishes he had been carrying glacial acetic acid and sprayed that rug down well before cleaning.

Apparently, the importers are sending over used “antique” rugs that some Iranian has the good sense to get rid of.
It might have looked like that when they bought it.
They probably had no idea it bleed until you rudely pointed it out.
