It was just laid days ago. Hasn't been driven on ever

He just wants it sealed so if it does get dripped on or wherever he's protected

Do I need to grind on it with monkey pads being its new?

Thanks for the help

Won't the sealer make it slippery when wet? Or is it a different sealer than used on concrete?

My father had the concrete guy re-seal his drive years ago when they poured a new drive. He thought they didn't do it well so they sprayed it a second time and that sucker is super slick when it rains.

Its even bad in the winter with snow on it, you snow blow but slide on the slick surface....not a problem for you guys.

Seal with hi end pen arrant sealer,
Will not change the slipperiness
Topicals will make slippery and with multiple coats often requires grip additive

Ok Larry that the ticket I'm looking for..is there any prep I need to do? And how do I apply it..spray it or roll it on?

Does the stone need to be 100% dry when I apply and do I need to watch out for my days about rain..or once its applied I'm good to go?

Thanks..I'm wanting to bang this put by end of week so I need to order tomorrow

He doesn't have grout lines its sand in the joints from what I can see

Thanks

I've never done tile like that on a drive way but if it was me I would spray it on. You can't go wrong with Larry's sealer , I spilled that on my drive way about 5 years ago and rain water would bead up on it for at least the next 3 years. I should test that just to see how long it will last.

Yep, just spray it on. three coats would be good.

Tell them you will need to Turbo cleaning it yearly and apply the sealer as well.

Stupid material for a drive way. give a big ZERO guarantee.

Watch the sand if you use the turbo. I'd probably run a red pad with a stone cleaner and rinse with a hose. Come back the next day, blower and seal.

So even though its never been driven on and barley walked on I should still scrub or clean it before spraying on sealer?

That's what I'm trying to figure out. If I just have at it or clean or scrub first

If I don't hook the vac to the turbo and leave the pressure low think that would be ok?

That my thinking as well Bruce.

My experience lacks In knowing if the stone needed agitation or something to help it accept the sealer.

Mike suggests 3 coats so I'm gunna order 3 jugs and have at it

It will take several days for sealer to come in from Texas so we have time for more suggestions or confirm the ones I have
Thanks
