I saw this video (nice video ) they are using a CRB which is good. But noticed how much prespray was dripping from it. So how heavy do you apply your prespray.

I've seen this question before... its impossible to describe accurately how heavy you apply. One person might think they are putting it down light and other person would think they are soaking the carpet. Unless we could measure ounces per room, it's an impossible question.

More on the dirty part and less on the cleaner area. Remember it's your friend and will make you a better cleaner.. No pre treat means wetter dirtier carpets. and no repeat customers. jz.

The crb is designed to pick up soil but with no renovator trays attached, the soil and moisture has no where to go. Once the brushes fill up, it will drop like that. Doesn't mean he's using too much prespray.

I tell the guys they have to be intentional about prespraying.... meaning use as much as needed. Extra prespray is cheaper than a call back. But, I will say, callbacks have been pretty much eliminated since getting the CRB.

depends
as little as a gal RTU for 1000sf to literally hosing down a gal RTU pr 100sf

and you'd think they'd know to spray it evenly right?
Not from what I've seen .
If it was spray paint, they'd see bare patches alloverthedamnplace

Apply it at the rate of one gallon per 625.734 square feet.
If you got it at a discount, 621.89 sq feet.

Now go sprint your head directly into a doorpost.

enough to change the look of the carpet
so when you wand it
Mrs Phift sees the difference and believes you can walk on water....
Same as if you sprayed clear water on it....

I spray enough for the carpet to be damp not saturated unless there is a lot of urine spots, then i will spray it heavier. If you want to see the capillary action of your prespray, put some on a window and squeegee it off and then watch the edges and notice how fast and how far it comes back on the window.
