Did a job grout haze removal...

Installer left it like this.

Said he couldn't do anymore.

Well alot of the grout blew out of the grout lines.

And it was a total mess.

$12,000 installed and it probably needs to be ripped out and redone.

I was able to pull alot of it off with a acid, black pad ,and spinner at 1200psi.

But the fact you don't wipe up as you go leaves a huge mess.

Lowe's, Home Depot's, Costco, and all the other big box stores subcontract installations to typically the largest nearby flooring stores in town, these flooring stores will use these underpaying projects to train their latest employees on. So generally you see shit work on 90% of them.

Don’t know the height of that cluster fook but if 5.25 mounding won’t cover it, that house should be burnt to the ground

Lower income condo.. You want to burn a $650k condo because of the moulding?!?

I'm right there with you! I've seen some real sh!t work, but this one takes the cake.. Standard 4" rubber cove-base which they probably reused knowing the nature of the building..
