What tool caused these lines ???

And not the cleaner the upholstery tool.

I took me a minute to catch your humor about “what tool”

Wand marks can happen with any tool, but some cause more issues than others. My guess is that this was taken before grooming was done, or the cleaner skipped grooming it.

Cottons aren’t too difficult to correct, as opposed to viscose or other regenerated cellulose fiber fabrics

At a guess, the tool didn’t have a vacuum bypass, and was perhaps metal, not one with a plastic built in glide (like the Upholstery Pro) or one with an add on glide.

How did I do?

Oh, dry vacuuming alone could do that, but if not wet, those would brush out easily

OK Sam, having looked closely at the lines within the wand stroke, I'm pretty sure that I know the tool.

And that it wasn't an unglided metal tool either.

The tool that appears to have caused those lines was for a long time my favorite tool, but that specific issue was one of the things that I couldn't like about it, and one of the reasons I worked with Mike on the JubiLee, when initially I hadn't wanted to.

I won't name it, as it is unseemly to embarrass the manufacturer.

The picture could aid me in training; may I use it?

Yeah the pattern left was different from my sapphire and rotovac tools.

But it was on the back and side the seat cushion you could still see it barely.

I'm going to correct it Tuesday.

Customer bought them second hand and wanted them cleaned.
