Many gravestones are marble, limestone or granite. If a guy was to accidentally clean older stones at a national cemetary, would “Wet and Forget” or “Jomax Spray Once” be suitable to clean and what would make a good protectant after the moildew and lichen weather off?

Looking for real answers, but get them in quick before this thread gets derailed, hahaha!

So to the point: is there a decent stone treatment, or do I use Super Sealer?

Super Sealer will help.

It will help to keep it cleaner longer and we did some testing in the elements... Meaning we got it on our rear chrome bumper of a van a year ago and it stayed there a long time until we decided to actually try and remove it.

Was interesting to see that spot on the bumper not get dirt attached while on dirt roads and just more shine on that spot all the time... Beaded water well too.

If someone is going to take flowers, why not clean and protect the headstone of someone you love. Our local cemetery looks like a flower garden on Memorial Day in Utah. Being from Ohio, i have never seen anything close to that before moving to Utah.

I’ll go from here to Tate GA to clean the stone of a friend’s ancester, a Confederate Captain.
The friend lives in Oregon now.
And I won’t care what I look like.
