It's a long story

I don't have much sympathy for morons, who's ( many) mistakes threaten me with harm or duress.

I was wondering about when you were with him but I dig it, long story.

That's fair. I'm similar. I don't mind when people unnecessarily inflict harm on themselves, it's sad but to each their own. Mindlessly and selfishly spilling one's stupidity onto others again and again can be a bit infuriating.
