We are in the middle of our spring cleaning mail out and we add to our post cards just above the label "Return Service Requested" and sending the post card 1st class $.24 instead of bulk mail.

The Post Office is supposed to return to sender any cards where the addressee has moved and is to supply the address on file for mail forwarding. This is how we update our clients addresses that haven't used us in a while and moved with in our service area and we delete the ones that move out of our service areas.

Out of a 2000 post card mailing on the 1st of the month. Thus far we have received back 67 cards where the client moved to another home in our area since the last time we serviced them and another 94 cards where they moved out of our area.

Helen asked today if any one on the bulletin Board had a letter to new prospective clients that bought or live at the old clients previous address??

When we clean a home for a client that is moving out, we ask permission to leave a note to the new owner and a business card. The note just explains that we has been maintaining the carpet areas to the previous clients satisfaction and would love to continue to do so for them. We get a very good response and new clients with this note..

Any thoughts or Ideas on this??? I have seen some great stuff from Jim, Jeremy and others.
