Does anyone have the Greenhorn stair tool? Who makes it and how does it compare to others? I like the length and lack of bend and am considering getting one.

Thanks

Re: Do you have this tool?

Of course greenie modifies them from greenglides, I don't know what the wand is itself.

I entered the judson contest in hopes of winning one.......anyways I don't do enough steps to warrant buying one. There has only been one person that I know of on here that has reviewed it at all. And he loves it from what I can tell.

I don't like it for stairs but I love it for reaching under beds though

I have the 14" greenhorn stair tool. It also double as an excellent floor wand.

Re: Do you have this tool?

Just got my greenhorn stairtool yesterday. Haven't had a chance to use it yet, but my tech has it out on the job today and has 2 flights to do with it. I'll get my chance tomorrow :D , can't wait! It is 2" tubed and looks like a beast! Won it here on MB along with a mixed case of 02 and some hot sauce. Yee-Haw!!!

Re: Do you have this tool?

we just got one.

The Little Genies used it today for the first time.
Cody liked it, Shane wasn't all thrilled about it.

I haven't used it yet so i don't know whether I like it or not.

My first impressions are;
it should hold up well to crew abuse and be a "forever" tool
(that's important to me, cause me and little genies could tear up an anvil)

Not sure if like the lenght or not.
I'll know more when I use it.

I DON'T like the steel supply line from valve to jet manifold.
Been burnt too many times on those steel lines.
I plan to insulate the exposed steel line.

as far as cleaning ability, it should be similar/same as the PMF 802/AW-29 wands we used to use.
I never had a problem with those wands and actually liked them

Another AW29 proponent.

I really like that wand. I bust it out sometimes when I want to play.

YOU BETCHA!

I think it's a great wand.
Cleans well and pushes well unglided

It gets a bad rap because it's not a "designer" wand or a big heavy wand.
(also, too many hack morons trying to blow 500-600+psi with it and soakng carpets)

It's on the flimsy side, but for $200 to $250 for a new one, it's a fine wand and can be replaced every 5-7 years.
BTW, i think the Westpac and CMP wands are on the flimsy side too.
and they cost TWICE as much .

the AW-29 is our back up wand now.
But honestly, I wouldn't feel handicapped using it if our Ti went down.
and truthfully, if there was no such thing as GreenGlides, the Ti would be nearly unusable cause you can't push the damn thing unglided.
Same with the POS Westpac and CMP

I agree with you Larry. For the price not a bad wand. I may have to take a break from the Ti wand. My hands are geeting too sore from holding the 2" wand.
