You can blow some of that cool air my way. High seventies today, felt like high eighties in the sun.

Hey, I've paid my cold-weather dues.

Wind chill is -30 in Ann Arbor, Michigan now. 7pm eastern

No significant problems in town right now, but roads are very clogged due to last night's foot snowfall.

-24 below right now at 9:45 pm and still heading into the deep freeze (AGAIN)

Just got in from another frozen busted pipe call.....and I am out of Restoration don't you know.....

Been a long ugly day and tomorrow ain't looking much better.

Even had the fuel oil freeze up again to the shop. Good thing for back up heat system, and I switched fuel oil providers!!!

Umm, if the shoe fits - I was using the term as per definition 2.

sod (sɒd) n1. a person considered to be obnoxious

2. a jocular word for a person: the poor sod hasn't been out for weeks.

3. sod all nothing

4. sod it a strong exclamation of annoyance

Too bad about Auburn but it was a really good game nonetheless.

We have an attached 2 car garage that is insulated. I have an electric heater in there but just barely keeping up. It is reading 40 degrees in there so I should be okay. Little relief tomorrow. I need a better setup, this is nerve racking. Thankful my fam is safe and warm and out of this crazy wind. I hope Waldo got his box inside somewhere...

Russ idk if this helps ease your mind some, but from my "testing", my sol pump and cleaning sol's don't freeze in my van until the outdoor temps go below 28 Fahrenheit. my testing consists of leaving my MultiSprayer in the van in my driveway all night...no heater lol. but i have done this for years and it has been fine. once it hits 27 outside, i have found slush in the MS's lines. so at 40 you are plenty warm.

Tonight is going to be a mess, unfortunately we ran out of encap over the weekend.

Might have to bust out the portable :numfi:.
it may not have helped yesterday but for future reference Shane, there is a janitorial supply shop in Henrietta that sells Releasit. in a pinch it would be faster to drive there and pick some up than wait a day on shipping.

Total trainwreck, turned into one of the worst storms we ever had.
2-3 feet of snow, 50 mph winds and 0.

The wind/cold was so bad this morning when i walked to the store my eyeballs froze open :eekk:.

Completely shut down right now for the first time ever. The worst part is i don't have any beer.... :dejection:

I had one cancel, it was a duplex with both sides wet, would have been 3K, too much for them.

Then 4-more just called in :eekk:, that's another 7-today.

14- in the last day & half. :errf:

One of them thanks to you Michael! :icon_cool:

Its just crazy here, I'm down to 2400's and into the store room for airmovers.

To those that have called me I'll have to call you back tomorrow! :winky:

We called it quits for tonight, well as soon as they finish the ones they are at. One of the jobs we still need to finish is for the State of Kansas in an office building and we have 10-techs there.

Big D is running some food over to the big job and I'm sending some cash for dinner with the last 3-techs going out. They hopefully will all finish up before midnight.

We will hit it hard again tomorrow (if there are still some left). We have 5-on a list for tomorrow but we will see if they are still there in the AM. Most don't wait but others usually do pop up.

Tomorrow is going to come fast for those boys. :icon_neutral:

I bought orange juice and cookies for breakfast and open up the shop and see 2-water trucks missing. :eekk:They got an business call in at 1:30 AM with 4,000sq/ft wet. They are almost done it's 8:00AM.

Those guys are going to be toast today. :icon_cry: We will have to send them home for some sleep.

Another wild day already and it just started.
