Richard make sure you extract from the back and put a "buffer" directly under the vac slot. A thin green scrub pad works well.

So you were drying a dry rug?
Fringe don't look wet.
Neither does the floor.

Richard the buffer is because the suction is so strong it locks down on the carpet with out it. You get better results with it and no risk of damage at the suction point

Ron the rug fresh out of the wash pit and had only been squeegeed prior to putting the rescue mats on it. If look close you can see the water being pulled across the mats

Is this the drieaz system we use for wood floor drying? If yes, isn't it unsafe to have water travel up towards the blower?

Zee, it is the Dri eaz mats for wood. Doesn't all water being extracted travel up towards the blower?

If it's really wet you can use a separator to keep actual liquid from your unit. A 5-gallon barrel work great with a couple of pvc barbs.

I just figured your TM or high powered portable or in Davids case an EMT hooked up to the panels.
