It’s Time the Public Met the 2%.

Most people think all carpet cleaners are the same. They are wrong. There is the 98%... and then there is Us.

https://www.google.com/search?q=TheCleaningStandard.com will be the first platform specifically designed to introduce discerning homeowners to the unicorns of our industry—the 2% who care more about the result than the clock.

We aren't selling leads to the highest bidder. We are ranking cleaners by:
Engagement: How much you contribute to the industry knowledge base.
Transparency: Your real methods, your real equipment, your real face.
The "Vacuum Factor": We’re telling homeowners the truth—if the upright vacuum isn't the first thing off the truck, run.

If you are the guy who keeps his upright within arm's reach of the side door because you know pre-vacuuming is where the magic happens... this platform is for you.

We’re building the list.
We’re raising the bar.

We’re setting The Standard.

The vacuuming comment is interesting. Haha. I gotta admit, I am 32, learned carpet cleaning from my stepdad when I was 14, been working for myself since I was 17. He never taught me to pre vacuum. Even though he had an absolutely amazing reputation here for 45 years. Idk it just never seemed necessary. I do keep one on my van now usually if I go to a place with dog hair everywhere. But usually everyone vacuums before I’m there. I personally think there are probably tons of way worse cleaners than me who DO pre vacuum. I use zipper doors, roll out really long mats for hoses, protect corners, do extra dry strokes, I set up 3 AirPods in every room after I clean. I try to go above and beyond. It’s just that the prevac seems like a waste of time for 95 percent of my jobs.

I go deeper in the importance of vacuuming. It’s required in my little business to carry 2 vacuums on the truck all the time
- one for the well maintained nice homes
-one for the neglected jobs

For the reason of not spreading any nastiness from a dog infested rental to a $3m estate home with white carpet

If you have only 1 vacuum cleaner and service both types of jobs…it’s time to improve your quality

I think I’ve asked this question before , but if not.

How is the entire customer base of ours gonna get this source of info into their hands? What’s your plan of marketing?

When people type carpet cleaner near me or best carpet cleaner in Curahee etc, TCS will pop up as a referral source for premium service providers, and a place to ask questions about what's the best vacuum cleaner what's the difference between all the vinyl wear layers why is my carpet rippling why is there a yellow spot under my area rug how do I get this coffee stain out why can't I find nylon carpet anymore etc etc

Hoodie has a plan that I don't need to understand.

Interesting thing when it comes to vacuuming. A few years ago, I was at customer appreciation day at a local distributor. They had just started carrying CRBs. They did a demo on their carpeted showroom floor. They vacuumed thoroughly with a commercial vacuum cleaner, then ran a CRB over the same area with trays on. The CRB picked up quite a bit of dry soil that the vacuum had left behind. You really can't vacuum enough.
