My computer keeps locking up after a little use, seems like it happened after down loading Nero?

I was thinking of bringing it down to best buy and have them fix it but I want to make sure I won't lose my important junk.

Anything I can try myself?

Is it IE locking up on you? IE7 is flawed. Download firefox from motzilla.

i use Firefox and love it...almost got IE7 the other day, thanx for the heads up d!

Al, without seeing it, i suggest doing a System Restore. if you are running Win XP then goto: Start / Programs / Accessories / System Tools / System Restore.

pick a highlighted day that is closest to, but before, you installed NERO (or whenever it was you began having the problems).
