It's a whole lot easier when you're not carrying #100 pounds of blubber around...

Yesterday I cleaned two rentals in Northstar. The first has 12 rooms/areas of various sizes and two carpeted stairwells, and the last was 6 areas and that spiral case.

Took me from 10am to 6pm but my brain still thinks I'm carrying that weight so I was convinced that I was going to need another 3 hours..

I'm flying up staircases these days!
Xero rise shoes were a big help.

and my 14" 2 jet was greatly appreciated....

And yes, I still took the time to pre- vac.

How did you tackle that staircase? regular wand I assume, but the hose, bungee, hooks?

My 10" modified 29" Westpak, tie wrap, 8ft lead hose..

I would never go back to a portable, guys who think it's equal or the same do know.

One thing easier is the light wand and the 1 1/2 inch hose.

I got this as a gift from a client the other day.

The PMF 14"? Using inline sprayer?

Take caution with the barefoot zero drops to keep tendons in check. I rotate with old running & court shoes(underrated for stability)
My old Altra's are more like a -4 drop!!

My friend rented a Home Depot special portable machine that comes with the signature aw29'er to clean his concrete basement in his new to him home last weekend.

He reaches out to me in the morning asking for some last minute tips after I suggested he call a company to clean it for him. He claims that there was nobody in his area and he said he had time to do it himself

He messaged me again that evening, telling me how he knows now how our shoulders can get screwed up. So he wasted a whole Saturday just to clean 2k sq. ft, lol
