I wonder if that fact my hood got 10 inches of snow Friday night has anything to do it with.

Mind ya, 10 inches of snow in a season for my area is rare. But in mid April!

Been so freaking cold here this year.

Headed to Vegas the 1st part of May, better be warm!

I love living in WA state, but it is years like this I wish I lived a bit more south.

Today was cool but sunny day.. Booked 5 jobs via phone calls.

I'm happy with sales over all.

But, I so want to hang my pants up for the season.

Yeah, seems weather has a lot to do with business. So far this is our busiest year but the cost of living has gotten so high that it seems like our slowest year.

I'll have to bag some lemons from our tree and compete with the illegals.

I am ducking calls getting ready for golf. You should be booked solid for weeks and if you are not look at your marketing, referrals and picing

Today was the 3rd day this month that it did NOT snow. It has been a terrible April. Not BUSY by any means, but study none the less. Once the snow is gone (some areas still have FEET on the ground), things will be booming and we will all be complaining about how busy we are

April is always my worst month. The same may be true this year but I have been busy every day. The jobs just seem to be smaller.

However, this may turn out to be the best April ever.

April was decent last year. The weather has really sucked here this year and my numbers suck just as bad. Glad to hear I'm not the only one.

Do you guys think it's just the weather, or the overall economy?

March was a down month for us.
Still ahead overall for the year, but not by much.

April has been busy with Fire (7-Fires in the last two weeks, 3-Pack-outs and 4-on location) & Water work. Commercial carpet cleaning is picking up as we are moving into better weather and are out knocking on doors.

Residential is still sluggish and could be better, but April is historically this way as we transition to better weather.

May should be better! 8)

I've been in Spokane every other weekend for the past 6 weeks, the low land is snow free, but places like signal point, still has a ton of snow. Odd for the time of year ehh?

I'll be back over the 1st weekend in May then off seeking sun in NV.

Many of the lakes north of town are still covered in ice, opening season is SAT, a few opened march.

I have to say this is the craziest season in years for WA state.

I just checked my numbers, I won't complain anymore. I'm slightly up over last year.

I guess it is to soon to say how the economy has effected my business.
That is the problem about a sagging economy, you don't know it till for some it could be to late.

The first half of April was terrible for us. Then the weather started getting

nice. It's been in the 70's here this week and we went from hardly any

work to being booked solid for three weeks and the phone just keeps

ringing. I even had a call at 7:30 tonight. Gotta love spring! :D
