Can you walk me through how you use bar codes to inventory your rugs?

Yep we are Joe, every rug that comes in gets a barcoded on the tag, along with quite a bit of other info on the tag. Any time a rug moves it i scanned to the knew location. Give me a call if you want to hear about it in depth 248-291-2121.

Our software, AKA 'Area Rug Management System' (ARMS) virtually allows you to create stations for each step of the rug passing through your operations to be scanned and logged. We (Centrum Force) developed it for ourselves first. Naturally, in our little operation it is overkill. But it was designed in mind for big operations. It has provision for attaching multiple pictures of the same rug to its unique barcode and ID number too.

We're just getting started with SAP Business One. Will either of your (Ken/Tom) solutions work with B1?

I bet we could discuss this over a beer or two at Rug Summit 7.
