1st OP Machine to be CRI certified?

so i called Hruby tonight to ask about warranty issues if the Orbot is used. the gal i spoke with said that the Orbot (2010 model and newer) is CRI certified

a minute later in the convo she then said "well pretty much."

it looks like the Orbot will be the 1st OP machine to make CRI's list.

does this mean that all OP machines will not void carpet warranty's, or only the Orbot?

it SHOULD be all OP machines if they allow one... but it prolly won't be that way

Their is only one OP machine that wont cause fiber distortion/ tip blooming and it aint the Orbot. Do not see how they can pass CRI certification.

i bet you Hruby claims that their Orbot doesn't cause fiber distortion either. does that make it true because the manu states it? c'mon.

but that's a whole nother subject.

EDIT** also i see Racine on the CRI List. a Host/Whittaker machine can cause fiber distortion as well.

the answer is operator error. not the machine's fault.

I know they will grandfather in HWE machines if they meet a minimum requirement for operators. Will they then do the same for other OP machines?

Was in Dalton last week, PTL who does CRi testing says he has NEVER tested an OP machine yet.... HUMMMMMM
