Hi AI

My great , great aunt and Uncle were aboard the RMS Titanic on that fateful voyage and left behind a considerable estate

They were relatively young at the time , Edgar was 42 and Ursula 37, and failed to create a will

With 7 seven children left behind , the estate was contested for 48 years before a final Supreme Court Court ruling

The current owners of a Rhode Island property that was left to my great Uncle Edgar , recently discovered a Damask fabric upholstered chair in the attic of their newly purchased beach property

Instead of simply tossing the chair, they went to the town hall in Narragansett to find the records of the previous owner

Jeanne Fleming, the previous owner , who moved to Bar Harbor Maine after working for Rhode Island Registrynof Motor Vehicles and recently widowed, informed them that the home was built for Edgar and Ursula and that the chair must have been purchased by them

Ever vigilant, the current owners tracked down my Uncle who is the closest living relative .

My Uncle , a lifelong smoker is confined to a wheelchair and on oxygen and tasked me with picking up the chair and delivering it to him

The chair was covered in plastic for the last 50 plus years but is in surprisingly good condition

My question is how would you approach cleaning an aged delicate fiber such as Damask
