Keep it coming this is FUN!!!!He's not coming Dwain![]()
None of um will. The fact that the main condition is that the results very very public is a real deterrent. You see after we each clean our sides the vlm guy can spin all the pads he wants on my side to see if he can pickup any leftover dirt and i will make 1 pass across his side with a 4 jet drag wand with a brand new clear tube the result will be dramatic, video documented and undisputableHe's not coming Dwain![]()

What ever you use to clean vlm use. Im going to prespray, clean and dry with an rx20 with emulsifier, then switch to a rinse then rinse and dry(with a second dry only pass) with a drag wand . Just as i do on all carpets i clean. I will also document the amount of water i use so you know no tricks i really did flood the f$@k outa it and achieved the best resultsAm I allowed to use a bonnet? LOL

OK , now we're talking! If your sitill up to it after all that i know of a couple of apartments that i can always do count on to be dirty and ill give you a rematch there afterwards. Same conditions , outcome very very public and video documented . Any body using just about any process can make a clean to mildly soiled carpet look clean. But it take professional with professional hwe equipment to achieve excellent results with a dirty carpet. One thing you have to understand beforehand is that living in the country i specialize in carpets that most other eighter can't or won't clean. In a rural area you can't pick n choose which carpets you clean if you only cleaned the high end barley dirty ones you would be outa business in a very short time. I do do the nice ones but for every one of them there's 10 of the butt that ugly nasty ones to do(but on a remach we ain't goin to no nice one. )

When you say "flood" the carpets, that's a gross misrepresentation. I do a ton of Highrise work in condos and apartments. Using a portable machine in an average 1 bedroom apartment, I will pour 10 gallons into my machine and dump 8 gallons of dirty water in the toilet. Leaves 2 gallons of liquid in the carpet. Using vlm, I may use 2-3 gallons of water, depending on how soiled it is and 99% is all left behind. Wringing out my pads won't produce much water. It's not really low moisture, it's just your moisture didn't penetrate as deep which is why it dries faster. For some reason, they actually think we care what they think
WHY
Because we Don't
It's 2025 and you don't need to FLOOD carpets with gallons of water to clean it today
You can still do it that Way
BUT there is a BETTER Way, a SIMPLIER Way, a More PROFITABLE Way, a FASTER Drying Way
I love VLM !!!

I use a gallon for every 8-10 sgft and around 1 gallon per 5sqft at my shop the rotory will leave alot of water but the drag wand really get it dry especially when I make a second drying pass( i charge .05 per sqft extra for that)When you say "flood" the carpets, that's a gross misrepresentation. YES, I owned a drag wand back in the 80sWe do the shop first then an apartment we'll test um both after and the next day if you want but the results will be videoed and made very very public on 3 forums. you obviously never seen or used or even know what a drag wand is or can do)it is 16" wide, weighs 39lbs sprays 1.25 gpm and will pickup virtually everything it puts down at a standstill . I have documented my process so you understand exactly how ill clean and when we are thru for the day and the equipment is packed up theres no touchup going back the next day lets do it but so you know and no crying foul at the outcome below is a picture of how clean a drag wand can clean. So keep in mind thats how clean im going to clean a carpet ive just cleaned with a rotary come on down we might even be able get Mikey to judge he only lives 5 or so hours away

That's just a basic Mytee portable with 2-3 stage vac motors. Not even the most powerful ones. They take just under 11 amps each. I do a ton of portable work and easily get 80% or better extraction rates.8 gallons from 10 gallon I need a new portable??

Shop then apartment non-negotiableYES, I owned a drag wand back in the 80s
