What “flow” number meansEach jet has a flow rating (for example, a 02 jet is “2 flow,” a 015 jet is “1.5 flow,” a 03 jet is “3 flow,” etc.).To get the wand’s “flow,” you add up the flow numbers of all the jets on that wand.Example: two 02 jets → 2 + 2 = “4 flow.”Example: three 02 jets → 2 + 2 + 2 = “6 flow.”
This 4 flow 6 flow thingie is some sorta carpet cleaner slang. Living and working in a rural area has not allowed me to be around enough of you to pickup on it. So i have to rely on manufacturers & technical manuals and they generally speaking dont speak carpet cleaner slang. I believe that you're referring to the last# on the spray jet and disregarded the rest . But by doing that is where i get confused for example 80015 out put is ¹/¹⁰ of an 8015, and an 8015 jet sprays 3× more than an 8005 but all three have the same last number . At my shop i have a complete spraying systems manual. This weekend ill take a few pictures of the information that might help answer your questions. Meanwhile if you go to youtube and search "sprayerguru"click on videos scroll down to the one pictured below, in less than 2minutes the fog surrounding this subject should start to clear
Upon further investigation i think you're better off with sprayerguru videos and Google ing information with google enter entire nozzle# and pressure your working at for proper flow and youll get the anser you need then simply multiple by the number of nozzles for total flow. I think any information i pull up outa manuals will just confuse you more (heres a sample) and my contacts business card mind you I've had this for several years now
