My wife use to apply Releasit with the goofy cylindrical brush on a poll to her daycare nylon pile carpet once a week.

At the end of each day when it got vacuumed it would look a bit better.

My pets don't piss or shit in our home.

I know you will, but be sure and report back. Curious about pad usage, and time it takes you. when using that method on residential cut pile I have always found the process to take way longer than your preferred method.
And I use a ton of pads. way more than others seem to report.
