If so...Quit Using Staples to hold the brush to the head

IDIOTS!!!

Take that white collar off and think about the tools you’re selling

I never have issues with the staples not holding. My issue is that the staples keep stabbing me when I go to grab it. Rivets would be a better option.

Oh snap! Did he just call Scott W an idiot? I'm not sure that's ever been done before. I thought He was referring to Waldo who posts videos of himself grooming every week on Facebook.

The insert of the Grandi Brush is held in place with brads, not staples. But they are inserted by hand. Once in a while, you get one assembled when the worker was having a bad day or just distracted for a minute.

We have experimented with several methods of assembling them. All have some drawback. Always considering new ideas.

Cover by warranty. I hope your next one lasts 8 years like @Desk Jockey

I was out in the hot sun today, pulling a mikey, grumpy and grooming a wool rug I just cleaned in the driveway, because the customers were too stubborn on letting me take it to a rug shop, and the head fell off like you see in the pic when I was finishing it.

I'm cooled off now, so I'm in a better mood.

Staples, brads, there's not much of a difference. Why not just screw it in? Seems like a more reliable way. That's what I just did today

Matt is right.
Chavez should retire, though from his posts I think he already did as every day he sounds more and more Vawter-ish.

The tool can be made a lot sturdier. Both the metal holder (bands) and the way it is held together which becomes somewhat loose (develops a give a "jiggle") (happened to a few here).
Charge a little more and make it durable.

What I like about it is that it does not leave brush marks.

Or, when it pops out, go into your garage, grab a cordless drill, 3 #8- 1/4” screws, and fix it... simple, never have a issue again...
and throw some glue in there
I put clear silicone in mine, drove in 3 stainless screws....
Is that what you telll your clients when they complain?

How about just making it right.
If I wanted to spend all my time fixing things, I'll find a hobby.

Ofer, tell me one thing that’s perfect in life? I agree, most everything we purchase these days is shyte. It took me all of 2-3 minutes to fix my Grandi Groomer. I haven’t had problems with it for the last 18 months. I had it in the rug shop everytime I groom rugs. It now works as it should. As long as I don’t store it on the bristles, it should last me the next 5-8 years... yes, they should be BUILT CORRECTLY FROM THE START, but if they did, would they sell any more?????
