Heading out for the first real plow event of the year....

Dragging hoses through snow and yuck....

People sliding off the road....

But there is still some beauty to the first real snow fall that takes place....

And our lake is still not frozen over....first time we can ever recall that happening this late into December!

Our lake hasn't frozen over yet either. And it was in the low 60's here last Sunday.

I am thinking we pulled our dock and boat a little too early this year!!

It's been unseasonably warm here. No snow yet, not even much cold either but somehow I caught a cold this week.

Tomorrow's cold but it's going to pretty nice through Christmas. NO snow.

It was crazy trying to plow... Really wet snow, super slippery under the snow...

Just dumped $1200 into the snow plow the other day to prep and fix and dang thing quit working today and had to get going again...

The cold is just kicking the snot out of us as we get older... Ugh

Looks familiar ... lol

Hey Mark which type of all season or winter tires did you go with ? Trying to decide what I want before the transit arrives

I had BF Goodrich Commercial Radial TA's on the vans this past winter....they were ok...but don't think they held up as well...

On my new one, I have Cooper's...and went with more of an off road tire (somewhat for the look too)

Verdict still out on how well they will do in more snow...but, we had a coating of ice under th3e snow and wouldn't you know, ice on top of grass...I could barely get anything moving...so don't know yet...but I do like the look a lot....so if I get stuck...I'm gonna look good sitting there....

But so far driving in general, the new Coopers are really nice and did handle the huge amount of snow yesterday....

Cooper is putting a lot of new technology in there newer tires. Tread ware is just awesome.

Negative windchill sucks!!

I am liking the Cooper Tires better right now too...also have a new set on my 4 x 4 Dodge Ram and so far really liking those...will take a look at what those are tomorrow and try to post...they are a 20 inch rim, so not sure what sizes they come in....

And I forgot to mention, with the new Coopers we have on the van, we actually went up to 17 inch after market rims (16 inch are stock)

Last years tires (the Commercial Radial TA's) were 16 inch

Sorry Richard, but a guy like you, who breaks a sweat just thinking, and then walking into a cool room, might catch a cold.
