Did anyone notice the choice of carpet wands and how they were organized?

Ha Ha Ha This is a good example of evolution is the industry!

to remove a wand from its bracket, you just straighten the wand into a more vertical position and it comes right out.

what do you think of the carpet wand brackets?

The whole racking system looks great. I can't wait to see the truck.

The used one that was for sale here by indicating and making up my good friends mind of it.

The owner of that Aerotech put an order for a new one.

. It was their idea. You can get the parts at any electrical store it even lowes. It's call uni-strut. AT makes the corner brackets that tie it together.

Do those stores bring in 20 or 30k a month?
What are their inventory costs?
Employees?

Ok, so really not a bad deal at all. I pay $642 for the chevy express with the spartan box and $671 per month for Everest 650 hp and equipment. And as much as I like my Everest set up it stil doesn't measure up to the A/T XT, yeah I said it. So my total of $1,313 isn't that much cheaper than their entry level, heck tha's only one desent job a month, so there you have it. I would have gone with the AT if I hadn't had the whole UD fuel pump scare and there was a bigger choice locally of who to have work on the UD.

Sometime during this 3 day holiday I am going to set down and salavate again over this entire thread. Thanks AT for sharing!

Billy hit on the one single thing that concerns me about the AT. Local support ... or the lack thereof. AT is good at 0n-line support, and the issues that come up on V/AT rigs are very few and not hard to fix. Even the blown pto on my V was easy to find someone locally to fix. What concerns me is the fact that there are no local dealers of the truck itself in my market. Who warranties the truck? Do I have to have it towed to Birmingham for service? Having said that, if I had to make the choice today, the AT is first on my list.

The truck manufacturer can usually set you with a local certified shop to do warranty work. Only problem is that due to parts you may have to wait an extra day for service. I have seen this done before.

Mike is right, I sold shoes for the largest chain and they share their profit and loss details with the staff. After salaries depreciation merchandise etc they made about 25k per store! You big guys could definitely justify the machine with the depreciation cutting your income tax.

I had a Vortex for a couple of years and from my experience your concerns are no concern. If you can lift it up into a standard van, you should be capable of lifting it up another 18 inches into the AT. If you are a puss, and need a ramp, then the AT is better suited for that because you have room to STORE the ramp.
