Re: Stalker, er, I mean New Member!

Val will get a free cleaning compliments of MB.com, don't you worry.

To be honest when I started this half assed interview I had no inkling to Val's terrific insight on marketing and dealing with lecherous men.

Man, that's good stuff.

I have to get my head together on some of this stuff.
You're right, too much info.

For a guy who loves the conversion part of a website, I am humbled.
Thanks

Your insight is priceless.

Brian - since you're working on your own site, may I recommend the book: "Don't Make Me Think" by Steve Krug (Google - you can find it in eBook or PDFs of some chapters). It's a good read on the insight into how people use the web which basically states people don't READ webpages - they glance and skim.

I think it's great that you are open to feedback.

I know the book. Haven't read it....I will.
I have a hard time looking at my own work so I love critisism.
Thanks again.

Better yet - why not return it to it's original title AND location?

Hi Val
Been reading your comments. I'm the one that vacuums for 2 hours if its needed. I have a video on youtube that has taken a lot of criticism.

Take a look at my site, http://www.gethappy.ca . I've a lot of info on my site so I'd appreciate your feedback on the site and the videos, and how long you would feel comfortable having a cleaner in your house. A lot of cleaners like to be in and out, say 1-2hrs, so as to not "interrupt" the clients day. I've been up to 4-5hours depending on the house. This first video is of a job that took 4hrs start to finish, 2 hours to vacuum and 2 for the rest. The 2nd video took about 2hours as well start to finish.

Ahh...our beloved "Turtle Cleaner"

I want those kind of jobs, where the client wants the best cleaning possible, and will pay what it is worth. Being in Las Vegas, there is an abundance of price shoppers, and more than enough unscrupulous cleaners that will take advantage of them.

becker....I mean Mikey,

When are you going to post the pics of the two trucks so she can give her opinions?

Val, sorry, didn't mean to address in the third person, but I was really addressing Mikey.

Take care,
Lisa

Some cleaners told me that before I got into Las Vegas and I was worried.
I really haven't gotten that many priceshoppers. If I have, then Full Circle either Closed them at our price or just didn't schedule them.
I will look at the next report to see.

Been getting some decent jobs in Vegas.

hummmm

along the lines of the question i asked about photos......stock vs your own....

Sounds like "she" (in this case most women) seem to prefer a K.I.S.S method to it.....not to much shit to sift through...

So ... YOU'RE the one who keeps bringing my name up here.

I've got more time on my hands I can peruse this forum again ... see there's been a change to the look of the board.

I did have the carpets cleaned at the old house ... same company who did the professional cleaning throughout. I guess they did a good job - it was on the last day in the house and it looked good.

I moved from a four-bedroom house to a small one-bedroom apartment - carpet looks good; nothing to complain about as it's only 700 sq ft.

I thought you were going on a ride today??
