I’ve returned my Shark 2 times now to Best Buy and both times had it replaced under the extended warranty I had purchased. Well, my 3rd shark was starting to look a little ratty and some plastic parts had broken off a couple of months ago. So today I thought I would return it and test the boundries of my warranty plan.

I approached the clerk with my prespray encrusted unit and told him I wanted to replace it. He said “No Problem”. He said I would need to find something comparable since they no longer carried that vacuum anymore. He told me I could find another one up to $217. Hell, that was fine with me, I dont think I paid over $120 for my vac, so I was pleasantly surprised.

I picked out the next model up for $219. This one has a longer 12 ft hose for edging and more suction than my last model of Shark. Anyway, I brought up the new vac and the clerk asked me if I wanted to add the new 3 year warranty to the new vac for $39. I agree and the total came to $189. Turned out I got $30 back because the vacuum happened to be on sale.

I scored big time. Got a newer improved Shark, new 3 year warranty, and $30 back. This is my 4th shark but I’ve only paid for it once. Love that Best Buy warranty.

I tested the new vac at home tonight. Worked great. Then took it to the Rug shop and started working on some area rugs. Its been a really busy week. The rugs are starting to come in. Going to be buying my SEO girl breakfast. Got me a dank smelling one soaking tonight.

Don’t overdo it like you did Macy
I was trying to take the weekend off, but it didn’t work out. Everyone is in a rush to get things done before Thanksgiving. Then somehow I got on a list for Air B&B rentals. so I’ve been doing a lot of those. That is where this last rug came from. The renters were smoking pot and stunk up the rug.

I do believe it’s possible to work ourselves into a grave if we wanted too.

I bought a Shark in Best Buy today. The guy working didn't know anything about vacuums or the warranty. When I checked out they had a 3 and a 5 year warranty, but it says that it only goes in effect after the manufacturers warranty is up. The Shark manufacturer warranty is already 5 years. So I wasn't sure if Best Buy would make me go through Shark or not? So I passed on it. I still have 60 days to buy it though.

I just buy Sharks at the local thrift shop for $15 every other week or so. I keep a DuoClean for my house and carpet cleaning and sell the rest for $50-$60 each. I have 4-5 in my garage right now. Picked this one up today.

My past couple I bought through Shark directly and have the lifetime VIP, but it always takes them so long to send a replacement. The DuoCleans are nice and they clean well, but the front brushroll is always the first to fail. I think I've got around 20 Shark vacuums right now.

I had to replace the bearing on the front brushroll on mine already. It gets loaded up with hair quick then can’t spin and breaks.

I think I am…

I hate to say it and I probably shouldn't, but I warned you when you took on that 750,000 mortgage, having been there, it's way too damn stressful as the soul one truck, one income provider.

I hope it's not too late to make your necessary changes to get rid of the stress and fix your marriage

Vacuuming over piss and shit infested carpet is just a new trend in carpet cleaning. Making airborne bacteria and viruses will make it become outlawed.
