Hi Guys,

Is there a sample service agreement available that is commonly accepted and used by for carpet/tile? I know there are websites that can provide service agreements but they can be costly, and are often not tailored for this industry.

Thanks,

Hello,

A standard Service Agreement, while providing a general framework, should be tailored specifically to the service you're providing to ensure all necessary details and potential issues are covered. Typical elements covered in a Service Agreement include the scope of work, duration, payment terms and schedule, termination conditions, and liabilities, among other things.

While we don't have a public, industry-specific sample for carpet and tile services, I can provide you a general guideline. Please consult with a legal professional before implementation to ensure it meets both your business and legal needs:

---

**SAMPLE SERVICE AGREEMENT**

**BETWEEN:**

[Your Company Name]

AND

[Client's Name]

**SERVICES**

1. The Service Provider (Your Company) agrees to provide the Client with the following services: tile and carpet installation / cleaning / maintenance / repair (depend on your services)

**DURATION**

1. This agreement starts on [start date] and will continue until [end date] unless otherwise terminated in accordance with the provisions herein.

**PAYMENT**

1. For these services, the Client shall provide compensation to the Provider as described in the attached Schedule A.

**TERMINATION**

1. Either party may terminate this Agreement prematurely by providing a written notice within a specified period.

**LIABILITIES AND WARRANTIES**

1. Detail what warranties or guarantees are provided for your work or service.

---

Remember that this is a very basic example, and for a specific industry like Carpet/Tile services, you might want to specifically include terms around damage control, any pre-service requirements expected from the customers, any geographical limitations/coverage of your services, etc.

While it's understandable wanting to avoid costs, it's crucial to ensure that the service agreement you're using is legally sound. In many cases, it might save you from significant future expenses. It is always recommended to get legal advice in finalizing the contract or agreement.

Best of luck with your business!

Kind regards.
