Modern Flokatis

Had these quite some time ago.
Modern, Crate and Barrel - wool - backing was so loose I could work my finger through it.
tons of stuff down in there. 6ft. diam , so about 30 sq ft. total. 3 of them
Doggie issues. They owned the house.
the houskeeper had been after me to clean them on site. I had been refusing for several trips to the home(pictured).
Once I did take one outside, shook it , then hung it over a bunch of trash cans and beat it a bit to get crap out of it.
Attempted to clean a few small areas along the edges that had doggie issues. Smell was corrected, but not the yellowing.
Finally got the housekeeper to get permision for me to pack them up, take them to a a rug spa!!LOL for estimate.
Wow! $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Never could get an OK from the actual owner.
But since I had em I played with them a bit at home.
Used Centum Force U-Turn on the areas of concern. Then various other approved things. Had tarps under em when doing this.
This time of year , but happened to have a few good days.
Never did get rid of the yellowing.

Mike, funny you should ask.
At the time, one place I took them to Lookedthem up. That particular style was no longer available. But they were several hundred dollars new ..I can't remember exactly.
But they also wanted about 300 each to clean them. And I took the appropriate CTI WoolMagic to them. !!!@


I told her( the housekeeper) to take them out back , throw them in the pool, then lay them out on the tennis court to dry. TRUE story

They are made of wool - very loose weave - sometimes need a bit of a stretch after washing - one of my eedjeets used heat on one we did recently - bad mistake as it ended up like felted wool.
They were sometimes used as an underlay on mattress whci I think is where Woolrest got the concept from
