Larry, Thank you for your testing efforts, but so far I don't see where anyone has tested to determine what the minimum vacuum, Lift and CFM, needs to be at the end of 100' of 2" vac hose, 150', 200', etc.
Finally, here's a question for everyone:
When you have a single vacuum pump on a TM, and you split it off to run dual wands, is the total CFM cut in half going to each wand?
We did test CFM with calibrated meter with single 14" wand and then added a 12" wand. Adding the 2nd 12" wand reduced the CFM to 75% of the single wand (#47 blower).
A 2nd 14" wand would drop it a little more; ~71%.
We did test for lift a long hose lengths and got 5" hg. on carpet @ 500' of 2" hose (with 15" hg @ TM). Or ~10" on carpet @ 250' of 2" hose (with 15" hg @ TM).
