BTW PrimaDonna and Mr Clean, I don't really care what you guys do or don't do.... But for the sake of conversation I'm commenting.

It won't change anything and will not affect me either ways.

I just know I'd be pissed if FredC charged me 1200bucks for website seo stuff and I found out he left out some important steps to be making a dent in my main service area to show up good.
He'd be the expert.... I'd be the sucker.... And I most likely wouldn't know better because of his smooth charming personality that sold me on his high end knowledgeable seo service. And all he did was put a few pay per click Google ads and Craigslist, with my website link. Lol

Not true. There are lots of guys (not me) who truly do go above and beyond to deliver a superior product. They know their market is limited and are ok with that. We do the best job we possibly can while still be affordable to the masses, our at least the upper middle class masses

Though we do the dry stroke anyway peace of mind and force of habit. It's crazy we've done lots test strokes and it really isn't necessary

I knowv what you're saying but that would be real hard to untrain myself

I don't know if that window can be trusted either..

I'm trying to adapt my Ultra Geek Method and top dog pricing mentality to this retirement penny pinching way of life here in NV

Chris what would you do different if people were willing to pay more?

I'd probably use a rotary on most jobs, and spend more time vaccing, right now we spend up to 5 minutes a room. Maybe speed drying.

cause right now I'm way over delivering for what I'm charging in order to build our rep here..

I feel like we are too, which is why we're growing. Nobody around us even vacuums at our price point ($40-50 a room)

If he was we we wouldn't be having this conversation because he would've paid his bill. FYI. The furniture and carpeting were garage sale quality or I believe he purchased them recently at a garage sale . I don't believe he was looking for a difference in the visual more on the Health side which we provided .
That's the root of your problem. He paid more to clean the furniture than he paid to purchase it. Lol

I doubt that.

I think the guy is so big headed he was offended that a cleaner made so much more than did. It's that simple and that's why he needs to pony up. It's not about the price or quality.

Clearly you don't know Fred. He's never sold anyone with his smooth charming personality. But, somehow I really like the guy.

Yes...if you didn't see results from what you agreed upon with him. However, this is not a fair comparison. If you were happy with what he produced for $1200, and you saw a noticeable difference in your web traffic due to the SEO he did, and felt that what he did for the $1200 was what was he promised you, even if he didn't do it the same way another SEO person would do, would you still be upset? How could you be if he achieved the results you wanted at the agreed upon price?

Essentially that is how it would have to happen. Our clients know up front what we will do for them. They have the price, up front. They are happy with the results based on what they see and the value they have gotten. If our clients aren't happy with the results, we do what we need to to make them happy. Whether that is a call back/re do, partial or full refund. It's not a hack if we deliver what they want at the agreed upon price.

Chris, just being sarcastic. I appreciate the efforts that you and all the others on Mikeys board do to elevate yourselves above the rest of the pack. Definition of a hack is the guy who I just bought a used portable from. I bought a old EDIC Aqua royal portable machine, mainly for the nostalgia, (I used to own one 20 years ago) this guy had it bolted to his truck and was using as an etm. This machine just has 2-2 stage vacuums in series and a 100 psi pump. He was running 120 ft of vac and sol hose without any heat and claiming to be a carpet cleaner. No wonder people marvel at the type of cleaning you and others do in comparison. I have at least 100 others stories equally as bad or worse. I'm sure you have seen similar catastrophies

Hey Willy, just bought another little machine. Needs a new pump but shell isn't bad. Undecided if I will rebuild it or sell it. Not bad looking.

We're wondering when the English translation was going to be published.
