We are updating my wife’s salon. We painted the walls and got some paint on the pink vct. Was told that alcohol would remove the paint but instead it left worse looking white areas. Suggestions on how to get rid of the white?

Lighter sounds like color loss unless you're just talking about it turning the wax white. If that's the case, rewax the area.

Picture would help...or may just give a guy a chuckle. 😉

I thought color ran all the way thru with VCT?

and rubbing alcohol isn't a great paint remover.

Was/is the wall paint white/light color?
if so my WAG (wildazz guess)
looks like you smeared it a bit, but didn't remove all of it

Strip and wax. It looks like a satin finish not a shiny one. It would appear you've taken it down to a bare floor. Is that blue sponge abrasive? Next time use drop clothes 🙄 .
