Can anyone recommended an agency that provides good insurance and bonding?

Find an independant agent to see if there is a sweet spot. In my case, a few calls turned up Nationwide, which accepted my prior service as evidence of responsibility. The rates were quite a bit lower. Every company prefers a particular combination of experience, age, type of trade and so on. Just do a little calling around, or some area googling.

Look for an agent the same way.

Check your chamber of commerce ask other business people in your area who they use and why.
