Anyone who actually uses the term Occidental Rugs, is either a pompous ass or just trying to be funny. The fact that Lisa, Randy, OZ, us and so many other obvious people weren't "invited" tells me the agenda was not pure, but who knows. It was held about 5 miles from on of our showrooms and 10 miles from our Rug Care Spa. You'd think it would have been a great draw and something great to show people.

Arron at Artisan does not come off like those goofs. If he did I would still be hacking out rugs myself.

Thank god Lisa does not either. I sat through parts of 3 different presentations by her and the words craft or occidental were never uttered.



We had this toothless drunk guy at Coit who used the term a lot. He was a horrible cleaner who got lots of redos. I did plenty of them, in most cases he was too lazy to pre spray or aggitate.

I cant hear the term used in regards to carpet cleaning and not have a good laugh.

I would rather I kept my mouth shut over on ics about this. I think for many unkowing people I may have come off like sour grapes. I think Lisa's comments were exactly what needed to be said and hopefully readers can read between her pretty clear lines and not be taken in by the shills comments.

Jeff Jones may be the straightest straight shooter I've met, and I'd have to guess that he was making fun of rug nuts. Sort of like experienced sailors making fun of people that use the correct name for every sail. I've learned to be careful about what I say and how I say it when a camera is running, ever since a "humorous" comment (saluted with a drink) was taken seriously by people that should have known better.

Don't you want to be invited to the next one now that you know it's exclusive? 8)
And maybe they only excluded Mikey's Board posters tp keep away from conflicting with the Fest? :wink:

Anyhow, potential buyers couldn't be the only attendees, as I spotted several people I know that would have no use for Wolverine products.

I must tell you, I really enjoyed reading this post on the eve of our next Rug Summit that is scheduled in September. It should be publicly obvious by now that not everyone that attends Centrum Force Rug Summits owns our equipment nor would buy it. The content is geared to business development. Albeit, now that Centrum Force owns the Moore Company and continues to supply parts, we have many more clients that may be in the audience this time around. Some are even speakers!
