I have a SaLteEo job coming up that will need the wainscoting "waxed" as well.

What sort of applicator works best and how do I avoid drip lines?

Wow, you mean really putting regular floor finish on it? Never thought I'd see the day you'd be doing that..

You will need to put it on really thin, and I would use a sponge. It will probably take many very thin coats. Just a hair to heavy and it will run. The solids will make it a challenge.

I have applied an enhancer to a travertine fountain from the bottom up to avoid the streaks. If it does run, it will be on top of a coated area and should be easy to wipe without leaving marks. Did it with a big grout sponge.

Mikey remember that new fangled 1/2 gallon pump up that you recently discovered. Spray on the wall wipe with a micro fiber towel and rinse the sprayer out between coats

Would waxing the wall be easier or look better then lightly sanding and using wipe on polyurethane? I would not have thought to try and use wax.

It will look terrible in a few years and be near impossible to strip.

do u floor guys still use the term wax?

like a rug sucker and the word soap.

in a few years Mikey will be retired in the D.R., who cares about stripping it.
