I was replacing the coils in my car today and the 2nd to last bolt head was stripped. It was all the way in the back and it was recessed. I super glued a cheap socket to the head and let it sit 5 minutes. It came off easy as pie. I've used it in the past and it works most times.

excellent, Gene!

I too hope I remember that little tip

BTW, if you soak the socket in acetone, you'll get the cheap socket back for another day

Couldn't get a hand drill in there? I love my lil' "Grabbit" as seen on TV extractor set, used it on Mikeys hose reel on abolt head that snapped off, easy as pie.

Okay, one from a retired L.A.M.E.

For those small screws that keep unscrewing, paint over the head with nail polish.

This will stop the screw vibrating loose.

Ooroo,
