SOOO how to tell a cleaner copies others web sites???

as i was browsing around check out Yelp and what not, i ran across this competitors web site.....

Remember I live in UTAH....

I can tell you this. No client would read that much copy!!

Their eyes would glaze over in no time.

I doubt that anybody would get as far as concerned about cost anyway.

Actually that doesn't necessarily mean the cleaner copied the copy. In my searching for someone to re-design my site I spoke to several of our industry specific web sales companies and was told by them you could provide your own copy or they could provide copy. On the sites where they provide the copy they use the same copy on every site with just enough changes to supposedly satisfy the search engines.

Now maybe they did simply steal it I don't know I'm just throwing out another possibility.

Go to http://www.copyscape.com/ and put in your website url, and it will show you websites that have exact sentences, paragraphs, or similarity by percentages etc..

One of the websites I had done for me had the same thing. A handful of Alt tags, filenames and other cities in the body from other sites that the guy had done.

I've heard of people copying my videos and putting them on their sites :shock:

I think even this guys before after pics on his home page are copied, I've seen them before somewhere.

Wow Guys! Thanks for digging into my site for me (http://www.signaturecarpetcareutah.com). This was a quicky web design job to get the website live and to have content. This was standard JP provided content that I was asked to put in the site until it could be revised at a later time. This is great feedback for our re-design that we are working on right now.

This was originally a cookie cutter website (www.yourfavoritecleaner.com) that was purchased with all the copy about 5 or 6 years ago. you should be able to note that by running the site on Copyscape.
