What do you think about heavy (90lb) for washing oriental rugs?

I'd be mostly concerned with making sure your brush is properly broke in. As long as they are soft and you keep the surface lubricated it should be fine.

I'd say the shampoo if you are looking to apply, rotary scrub then rinse

All three have merit. The first is a prespray which can be scrubbed in with your machine then rinsed. The shampoo has less wetting agents and the citrus is for greasy messes.

There are usually more surfactants in a prespray allowing it to penetrate the fiber more easily.

depending on the formulation, the shampoo is less likely to cause bleeding. all products need to be tested for suitability.

No, I use mainly Prochem products.

alltec seem to have a reasonable line of products which is normally a good sign.

But like Ron said you will have to try to see what works for you.

I personally like masterblend, don't know if they have distributors over there.
