Im going to start reglazing bathtubs, sinks, appliances and tile. Im going to take a class and training for 7 days. I can do 3 bathtubs a week and make more than doing 10 carpet or upholstery jobs. What do you guys think?
I have tried it. Not as profitable as you think. It's great when people are selling their house. Not so great if they decide to use the fixtures that you've reglazed. People expect it to hold up to regular use and last fifty years instead of a few months.
Most cleaners will cause the glaze to fail in some way or another.
The guy that does it at one of my apartment complexes makes pretty good cash. I would think in New york there would be a good market for it as there are alot of older buildings.
