Refurbish my old TCS?

No thanks!! Sold the Little Giant for $500.
Oil poured out of the engine. Cat 290 and clutch were shot (rebuilt) numerous times. Blower had been rebuilt and knocking very loud. 5000 plus hours. She had done her job. Maybe she’ll be recycled into something pretty.

Actually, if you calculate 5000 hrs, X 150$ an hr average...

I'm getting ready to carry my old White Magic Commander to the graveyard. Well over 17,000 hours on it. I think it's time. Cracked pump, rusted out waste tank, blower bearing knocking. I bought a blower for it from a board member one time for $500. Exhaust box rusted out. Engine replaced once. Got over 10,000 hours out of the first engine. I'm surprised you had to replace the blower that early. Maybe belts too tight?

See those two slidey things under the Kohler label? One is choke and the other is engine speed. What more do you need? The unloader valve is hanging over to the left if you need to adjust the water pressure.

The van is still in great shape. I might get a cheap TM or electromount to stick in there as a backup. The van only has 221,000 miles on it.

Pressure gauge would be nice
As would a temp..
Chem feed is a luxury I suppose...
Hour meter would be handy to plan your maintenance around.

I did have plans for the last two years to replace all the components to have a second unit or sell it.
But I couldn’t convince myself that I wanted another propane unit after buying the 570.
And I have no patience for selling used items. I have a “just buy it or don’t waste my FN time” disposition. People that run a retail business have my respect. Booking a carpet cleaning job is one thing. But watching someone numbingly decide on a purchase. No way. Couldn’t do it.
